Royal Hill Homestay is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak so politely, which is very important it can be very difficult to find places and negotiate transport etc. without supportive home stay staff.
This homestay is located just a two kilometer walk from the shimla busstand. The walk is beautiful. The location is perfect there are breath taking views of The Valley below. This homestay was clean and you could access hot water. Room service was fairly priced and fast.
The first thing you have to understand about Shimla is that hotels charge a lot and give you very little. This place was a godsend after having some less than pleasing room on our Indian journey .Thank you to this home stay for providing us with such great service we would have been lost without it.
The overall experience at this home stay was very good and I had been here with my friends. There was no delay in check-in or check-out procedure. The room given to us was maintained well with all the required amenities in good condition, and hygienic washroom
